Bellabu Bear is a premium bamboo baby and children’s apparel brand experiencing rapid growth across DTC and wholesale channels. We are expanding nationally and internationally and are seeking a results-driven Wholesale Manager to lead account growth and distribution strategy.
Position Overview
The Wholesale Manager will oversee all wholesale sales operations, key account relationships, distributor partnerships, and revenue growth initiatives. This role is responsible for driving sell-in targets, managing retail partnerships, and expanding the brand’s footprint while protecting pricing integrity and brand positioning.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Revenue Growth
- Own wholesale revenue targets and growth strategy
- Manage key retail accounts (department stores, specialty boutiques, online retailers)
- Drive seasonal sell-in presentations and order acquisition
- Increase reorder frequency and account retention
New Business Development
- Identify and open new retail accounts
- Expand into new geographic territories
- Manage and oversee rep agencies and distributors
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and exclusivity agreements
Distributor & Rep Oversight
- Manage performance of domestic and international distributors
- Monitor compliance with purchase targets and contractual obligations
- Ensure pricing and MAP policies are enforced
Sales Operations
- Forecast wholesale demand in coordination with operations
- Review sell-through data to identify growth opportunities
- Support major retail meetings with line sheets and sales decks
- Oversee trade show participation and showroom representation
Qualifications
- 5+ years wholesale sales experience (apparel preferred)
- Experience managing major retail accounts
- Strong negotiation skills
- Experience with distributor agreements and rep agencies
- Strong forecasting and analytical skills
- Ability to travel for key account meetings and trade shows
